You all know how much I love London and how much I enjoy it every time I’m there. Last time I visited London I had chance to stay at the amazing Kimpton Fitzroy London that met all my expectations. Well, let me start with the more detailed review of what I experienced there.
Kimpton Fitzroy London has a great location, right on Russel Square in Bloomsbury, one of my favorite neighborhoods in London. The building itself is definitely the most iconic building on Russel Square. When you enter, there’s a beautiful hall that makes you feel like entering a palace or castle with an amazing staircase.
I stayed at Signature suite, located on the 6th floor overlooking the Russel Square. The suite was well equipped and very spacious. There was a very cozy living room, the bedroom with a huge King bed and THE bathroom. I must say that the bathroom was absolutely my favorite part of the suite. The bathtub was just next to the window so I could enjoy the view over the Russel Square right from the bathtub. The staff was also very friendly and always at my disposal for anything.
Maybe last, but not the least important thing was FOOD. I had daily breakfast included and I decided to try different options. The first morning I went for breakfast at Burr & Co. I love English breakfast in general and this one was great. I absolutely suggest it even if you’re not a Kimpton guest. Try it, it’s so delicious and the interior is also very cute (and instagramable). I also ordered breakfast in room the other morning and it was so delicious as well as an amazing treat!
I had chance to experience Fitz’s for cocktails. The interior is amazing with the huge disco ball in the center. I went for Vesca Negroni which was so good: a great fusion I’ve never tried before. On my very last day I also enjoyed the Afternoon tea at the Palm Court. This is definitely my favorite British traditions and I must say that the one at Palm Court met my expectations and was one of the best Afternoon teas so far. The scones were just delicious and the service was incredible.
