Fratelli Rossetti Men’s spring/summer collection for 2017 was one of my favorites presented at Milan Men’s Fashion Week. This season they were inspired by the Hamptons, the summer resort where New Yorkers take a break from their hectic Manhattan lifestyle to bask in beachfront villas cooled by ocean breeze. The entire set at the beautiful milanese Palazzo Visconti was also imagined to offer the experience of the luxury lifestyle of New Yorkers in the Hamptons.
Fratelli Rossetti has their guideline: ”Innovation must always embrace tradition”. For the next season they presented the traditional loafer where they added fringe, to refresh the traditional look and make it more innovative. There are 3 key designs for the spring/summer 2017: The Traditionalist, the traditional two-material loafer with fringe; The Maverick, the iconic Brera loafer with tassels and fringe; The Innovator, contains both fringe and buckles.
