Furla, Paolo Pecora, An Italian Theory, Cividini SS17 at Pitti Uomo 90

Furla, Paolo Pecora, An Italian Theory, Cividini SS17 at Pitti Uomo 90

Ciao!

In this pot I wanted to share with you some of my favorite Spring/Summer collections presented at Pitti Uomo.

FURLA

Furla is definitely one of my favorite accessories brands. Last January when I saw their Men’s collection at Pitti I really felt in love with every single piece. This time, it was the same. Their bags are my favorites: versatile, functional and convertible. All of them are made of the softest calfskin, whether classically smooth or hammered for a more casual appeal. They’re also available in canvas, with a range of cartoon, military and ‘camupixel’ camouflage prints. All the bags are made in Italy and that’s what makes this collection even more exclusive. For its SS17 lineup, Furla is introducing a range of footwear in soft, natural desert tones. The sneakers and lace-ups are all lightweight, comfortable and meant to last.

10 x 10 AN ITALIAN THEORY by Alessandro Enriquez

Alessandro never disappoints. His collections are always colorful, childish and creative. The Spring/Summer 2017 collection was inspired by the Italian music and the designer’s love for Italy, its style and lifestyle. There’s another thing very special about Alessandro’s latest collections. He finds his inspiration in some past periods; the last one (women’s Fall/Winter collection) was inspired by the 50s and 60s and for instance the men’s one, presented at Pitti Uomo 90 is inspired by the 70s. I really loved the prints and messages such as: ”Musica musica musica” or ”Bellissimo”. Since my love for Italy brought me Milan, I can fully identify myself with the philosophy of this brand that makes Italy the real actor of every collection.

PAOLO PECORA

Paolo Pecora is a Milan based menswear brand. I discovered it recently and had the opportunity the explore their latest collections better even before Pitti as well as to wear some pieces. Even this season they presented an ingenious interpretation of the most important pieces of the men’s wardrobe, revisited in a contemporary light. This collection is made to be perfect in a summer wardrobe because of its colorfulness, modernity. Inspired by the beautiful Amalfi coast, experiencing the warm season with its colors on a man: blue as the crystal clear sea, the yellow as lemon and coral red. I can totally immagine a man enjoying the day on the boat wearing the Paolo Pecora SS 2017 total look.

CIVIDINI

Cividini presented their second menswear collection after the debut in January with the very first Fall/Winter collection. The theme of this collection is ZERO WEIGHT with very light and quality pieces proposed for Spring/Summer 2017. The cotton t-shirts with knit details, sweaters in linen-cashmere, polo shirts made with two fine layers of high gauge cotton. The first polo shirt on this photo is so pretty. I love the pattern game as well as the lightness of the material which is so comfortable in summer.
