Thom Brown made another great menswear collection for Moncler Gamme Bleu that confirms both his sartorial sensibility and the outerwear heritage of the brand. I really liked the way of transition between the season that was presented. Models were wearing heavy winter jackets and underneath they had the spring-summer looks. Zippers have an important place in this collection and the give the touch of versatility to many items of the collection, offering many different ways of styling. The color palette can be classified in a few groups: the grey, grey and white, the red, white and blue group (very famous for Moncler) and there were of course a couple of formal black-tie looks. Regarding the items themselves, Thom Browne’s tailored pieces such as peacoat, trench, cardigan, polo shirts, trousers and shorts are the main items of the season. The use of technical fabrics, such as technical wool, cashmere, nylon and rainproof slicker make this collection very comfortable and sport like also. I liked the way the collection was styled, making some cool preppy looks and ton sur ton combinations.
