Last month I went to Paris Men’s Fashion Week for the 7th time and I had the best season so far. I attended many shows and presentations and I also had to shoot many looks in some of the most iconic places in Paris. Attending fashion week can be very tiring and that’s why it’s very important to find the right place to stay that combines both comfort and an outstanding location. This time I found everything I was looking for at Hotel Flanelles.
The hotel is situated just few steps from the iconic Arc the Triomphe and Champs Elysées which makes it close to every part of Paris. You can walk basically everywhere in central Paris, take metro or go by Uber/taxi. There’s also a fresh opened Galleries Lafayette on Champs Elysées that immediately became my new favorite department store in Paris because of its contemporary concept. Hotel Flanelles is a boutique design hotel with only 25 rooms which makes it so cozy and home like.
The lobby reminds me of the living room at home and really feels that way. The restaurant where they serve breakfast is also there and since there are not many guests I liked the privacy you have while having breakfast. The other facilities include also the salt room that is really regenerating and also, another important room is the changing room with the shower that is perfect if you arrive before the check in time or if you are leaving in the evening as I did. You can change there, have a shower and there’s also a steamer so you can also steam your clothes.
The room was also great: comfortable and with a unique design. All the furniture is unique and every room actually has something different. The bathroom was very beautiful and all the toiletries were by Prescription Lab (French brand that I just discovered and they are amazing) and there was also a professional ghd hairdryer. Those are the little details that make difference. Also, Nespresso machine is always a big plus for me.
I also had chance to try the tasty breakfast at Hotel Flanelles. There is a great variety of dishes served on buffet but there is also a possibility to order eggs à la carte. Attention to every single detail is also very important when it comes to food and they met all my expectations.
Hotel Flanelles also has the kindest staff. They are so friendly, helpful and natural which is a rare find nowadays. This hotel definitely would deserve 5 stars for its service and hospitality.
