Should I mention how much I love Acne Studios and their collections? The upcoming Spring Summer 2018 collection I had chance to see in Paris last June was so beautiful. I loved the unexpected way the venue of the presentation was imagined: entrance from the backstage and arrival on the catwalk seeing all the models staring at you as if they were guests and you were on the catwalk. WOW, isn’t it?
Regarding my highlights of this collection: definitely I would mention the oversized light coats and knitwear. The collection is very essential, featuring some of the most important pieces of the season. I liked the way some pieces, usually associated with the winter collection were reinterpreted in order to be worn also in spring. The important research of the fabrics Acne Studios always does definitely makes difference. I also felt the romantic side of the collection, sophisticated cuts and forms definitely made me love this collection. Acne confirmed once again they don’t follow trends, they keep their story going their way I couldn’t love that more.
