It was another Paul Smith collection that gave an air of positivity to my men’s fashion weeks I attended in June. Colors remain the leitmotiv of this collection as a signature of the designer. Floral and aquatic prints perfectly represent the mood of the SS18. They present on many pieces including the accessories such as belts and footwear as well. Outerwear has been made of technical fabrics developed in collaboration with factories specializing in performance-wear. I loved the navy bomber you can see in this post. The palette of this collection graduates from soft pastels to midnight-tones and navy but also to vibrant ones, such as the yellow. Some tailoring shapes for both men and women come form the Paul Smith archive, for example the squared shoulder blazers.
